Daffy

Daffy was born with a cleft palate in both soft and hard palate. She was our tiny little pup and it wasn't until she was almost 2 weeks old when I found out she was more than just a tiny puppy. By that point she had been winning the battle and thriving. I was bottle feeding
her from the beginning because she was only 4 oz. Very tiny for a Lab pup. We decided to give her a chance, as long as she was happy and growing. This girl beat all the odds.
Prayers were answered. At 22 months old a wonderful opportunity came to have the cleft
repaired at OSU. She received awesome care and had very successful procedures.
We are now over 3 years past the surgeries and she doing 100% great. This little girl turns 5 years old on Nov. 11, 2009... She's such a blessing!
